This is not a tramping trip, but still plenty of adventure … and one done in a little more  comfort!

I am putting  a group together and will use the rafting company “Hidden Valleys”.

The trip is a little expensive ($1,400 per person), but the guides look after you like royalty and the meals are awesome (speaking from experience, having done the Clarence with Hidden Valleys last December). The river is the Waiau River, which rises in the Nelson Lakes National Park and heads south then east past Hamner.
